Joe Davies Top
The 1st clip was played through Joe's 1964 Fender Strat straight into the OD-100 Classic into a 1x12 ported cab with a Classic Lead 80. Joe recorded this at a pretty low volume using the effects loop as a master and having it set at about 1.5. The left track is the clean channel with Gain at 7and level set at 6. Bass on 3.5, middle on 5, treble on 7. The other two tracks are channel 2 with the levels set at about the same with brilliance set at 5.
The 2nd clip, Joe played a Warmoth Strat-style guitar with Classic 57 humbuckers straight into channel 2. Gain is at 6.5, Bass at 4.5, Middle at 5, Treble at 6.5, and Brilliance at 5 and the Level at 6. Joe is using the loop as a master and has it set at 2. Speaker cab is a 1x12 closed back cab with a Governor.

Al Estrada Top
The following are demo clips of Al playing the OD-100 Standard on some of his own compositions as well as a demo clip. The first two clips feature an Ash body Strat-style guitar and Maple neck with the Duncan EVH pickup through the OD-100's CH2 with the Boost and Bright switches engaged. The remaining three clips feature a Star-body custom guitar with Ash body, Maple neck and Ebony fingerboard. The pickups are the Duncan '59 in both bridge and neck positios. The OD-100's CH2 is used with the Boost engaged only through a 4x12 loaded with two EVM-12L speakers. The microphone used on all these clips is the Shure Beta 58.

Joel Hoekstra Top
The following clips from Joel Hoekstra's two solo albums, 'The Moon Is Falling' and 'Undefined' show Joel's awesome versatility through the OD-100 Standard. These clips are from full-blown studio production albums, so the guitar tones are quite colored with various effects processing, but you should still be able to get a good idea of how the amp sits in a dense mix.

Josh Jove Top
The following track is a song called "Stereo" by the band Kiteline featuring Josh Jove on the guitar. The guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Classic with the Suhr DSH+ in the bridge and the Suhr DSV in the neck. The amp is the OD-100 Standard on CH2 without the boost throughout the track.
The settings: Gain-5, Bass-3, Mids-5, Treble-7, Brilliance-4*, Level-7, Bright Switch: On; *Rear Power Amp Presence control all the way up.
The cabinet is Marshall 1960BV with Vintage 30 speakers. Mics are the Shure SM57 and the Sennheiser MD421. Effects added post recording are reverb and delay with modulation from the Lexicon MPX-1.

Mike Landau ~ Badger 18 Clips Top
The following sound clips have been provided by the renowned studio guitar legend and recording artist Mike Landau. The equipment used on the clips is as following.
- *SM57 thru Neve 1066 mic pre, EQ set flat
- *PCM60 small room reverb
- *-3dB of 4:1 compression on the stereo buss
The first 3 Badger clips are essentially the same rhythm track being played at different levels to demonstrate how well the Power Scaling feature works. The first Badger clip has an overdubbed solo but the second and third ones don't.

Mike Landau ~ OD-100 Classic Clips Top
The overdrive sounds of these clips are all of Mike's OD-100 Classic's CH2 without the Boost engaged. No pedals are used whatsoever. Mike went for raunchy 70's classic rock sounds on these clips.

Andy Most - Badger Audio Clip Top
Guitarist extraordinaire Andy Most demos the Badger on this lovely clip featuring an intro and rhythm track on the left side and a lead track on the right side. The recording chain on both tracks is the Shure SM57 mic into a UA LA/610 Mic Pre (comp just about all the way off), Digi 002R and some Waves plugs. The guitars are Strat-style guitars with the neck single-coil on the left side intro/rhythm track and a Tele-style guitar with neck pickup on the right side lead-track. The cab is an open-back 1x12 with the Celestion Gold speaker. The Bader settings are as following:

Signal path: Badger was played through a Celestian V30. Mic: Senheiser 609 plugged directly into a ProTools Digi002. A very short (virtually inaudible) delay was added and that's it. All guitars played were equipped w/V60s and BPSCC

Craig Sharmat – Badger Audio Clips Top
The following Badger audio clips feature LA-based studio guitarist and composer Craig Sharmat. These clips exhibit a warm jazzy side of the Badger. The guitar is a set-neck 24.75" scale solid-body with a neck humbucker. The cabinet is a closed-back 1x12 with the Celestion V30 speaker mic'ed with Royer ribbon mic R-122 into a Amek Neve 9098 preamp. No EQ was used. This signal then goes into a Metric Halo Mobile IO which interfaces with a Macintosh G5 8 core computer which applies slight reverb and delay on all lead parts and a compressor (Logic Pro) on the clean parts. The amp settings are as following:

Steve Stevens just picked up his Badger and is quite ecstatic about how it's performing for him. Here is a demo audio clip of the Badger by the inimitable Steve Stevens. And here are some comments from Steve about the Badger:
"This amp is so easy to record that all that was required really was to program some drums and a quick bass track. Guitars used were my white Les Paul Standard with my Bareknuckles Rebel Yell pickups with the end part featuring a Gibson Console slide guitar.
Mics were Royer ribbon & Shure 57. No eq was used...honestly NONE. The audio file was then mastered in Logic Waveburner...nothing drastic.
The Badger is plain and simple a recording guitarist's dream. It is so true and real without any hint of fake distortion. I think you kind of have to be a reasonably good player to appreciate this amp because you can't hide behind silly gain etc. It is dead quiet as well. Huge thanks, man. I LOVE this amp."

Nick Sterling Top
Kid guitar wiz Nick Sterling puts his Badger through the paces on this hard rock-tinged clip. The guitars used are the Suhr Standard with hum-single-hum configuration and a Classic with V60LP single-coils. The Badger is powering a '71 Marshall Checkerboard cabinet loaded with Eminence Governor speakers. The Badger's Power setting is set at around 6 and Drive just over 4. Nick bumped the Drive up a little when playing the Classic model guitar with the single-coils.
