An intelligent and thorough update of the familiar vintage designs of the 50's, our Custom Classic guitars have that old broken-in feel with the consistency provided by modern technology and craftsmen who understand what made the good vintage guitars sound and feel so great.    From consistent and friendly neck shapes to various fingerboard radiuses, to superb fret work and inspiring playability, to the sweet and punchy sounds of our pickups wound in-house using vintage-grade magnets, to the revolutionary SSC System that keeps the vintage tone while eliminating the 60Hz hum, our Custom Classic guitars can be built to way you dreamed such a guitar should look, sound, feel, and play.

   For the 50's type of vibe, go for the Swamp Ash body with the one-piece Maple neck with our V54 or FL Classic single-coils. For the 60's type of look and sound, you can't go wrong with Alder body with Maple neck and Indian Rosewood fingerboard and the FL or V60LP pickups. We offer over a dozen standard neck shapes to fit your hand and playing style.

   Of course, you can also hot rod the classic design to your heart's delight. Throw in a hot humbucker in the bridge position. Make it a hum-single-hum configuration with coil-splits. Add a fancy Maple top to add beauty of figured woods and to extend the tonal range. Specify big stainless frets with a flat fingerboard radius for silky legato playing.
